Hi, I’m Jacob McManigell, lifelong animal lover and founder of Atlanta Pet Pal. I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember, growing up alongside dogs, cats, horses, turtles, and even a little mouse.

After years of personal experience, I officially began my professional pet care journey in 2024. I started Atlanta Pet Pal to pursue my passion for working with animals and to provide a simple, professional option for pet parents of various financial backgrounds.

I love spending time with animals and making sure all their needs are met with kindness and attention. In addition to general pet care, I’m also experienced in working with shy pets, administering medications, and giving insulin shots — so you can feel confident that your pets are in good hands.

Whether it’s a quick walk or dedicated overnight care, I’m here to make sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

When I’m not caring for animals, you’ll usually find me enjoying nature and spending time with family and friends.

As the Web & Business Administrator-and an active Pet Care Provider-I combine behind-the scenes organization with hands on animal care. While I manage our website, email communications, and scheduling systems to keep our business running smoothly, my greatest joy comes from spending time with your pets. Working remotely means I can provide extended, attentive overnight stays, giving your pets comfort and companionship when you can’t be there.

I’ve cared for animals my entire life—from cats and dogs to hamsters and guinea pigs—and I treat every pet like my own. Whether it’s a long walk, a cuddle session, or making sure they get their meals and medications on time, I’m dedicated to keeping tails wagging and whiskers twitching.

Hello, my name is Ashton! I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University and have lived in the Atlanta area my entire life. Since I was born, I have always had a passion for caring for animals.

I have almost continuously owned dogs and cats my entire life, big and small in size, and I am very good with all animals in general. My family has had many litters of dogs, Golden Retrievers particularly; so from a young age, I have had vast experience caring for animals and making sure they are happy and that their needs are met.

Pet sitting professionally for Atlanta Pet Pal has allowed me to utilize my passion and skills caring for animals. I am very dependable and always make sure that the needs of a pet are the first priority. I always strive to make sure that every pet is taken the best care of.
