Q: How do I book a service?
A: Booking a service is easy! Simply follow these steps:

Schedule Care: Visit the “Book Now” page on our website, create an account, and select the services you need. Specify your preferred dates and times—please note that the time is approximate and can vary by up to 90 minutes.

Check Out: Complete a pet care form with necessary information, provide billing details, and make payment to confirm your booking. You will receive a confirmation email with all your booking details.
Q: Do you offer free consultations?
A: Yes! We offer a free 30-minute consultation where you can meet with us and see if we’re the right fit for your pet care needs. During the consultation, we’ll discuss your pet’s care plan and make sure we’re on the same page.
Q: Do you offer free meet & greets?
A: Yes, we offer a free meet & greet for every new client! This gives you the opportunity to meet us in person, discuss your pet’s needs, and ensure we’re the right fit for your family.
Q: How far in advance should I book a service?
A: We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability. However, we do accommodate last-minute requests when possible. For recurring services, scheduling early can help secure your preferred time slots.

A: Our dog walking rates are based on the duration of the walk:

A: Our pet sitting service comes in two tiers:

Includes morning & evening care (walks, feeding, litter box, etc.) -
Pet Sitting Priority – $59.99 + $5/additional pet
Includes morning, afternoon, and evening care for more hands-on attention. - Pet Sitting Retreat – $79.99 + $5/additional pet
All day and night pet care. Sitter may leave premises for up to 4 hours per day.
Q: Do you accept tips?
A: Tips are always appreciated by our pet care team! You can leave a tip when you pay or after the service has been completed. We are grateful for your generosity.

A: We accept all major credit/debit cards and online payments via our website. We do not accept cash payments.
Q: Do I need to pay upfront?
A: Yes, payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. This helps us secure your spot and ensures reliable service for your pet.

A: In the event of an emergency, we will immediately contact you and follow any instructions you’ve provided. If necessary, we will take your pet to your preferred veterinary clinic.
Q: Can you administer medication to my pet?
A: Yes, we can administer oral, topical, and some injectable medications to your pet, as per your instructions.
Q: Will I receive updates about my pet during visits?
A: We send photos of your pet so you can stay informed and enjoy seeing how your pet is doing during their care.
Q: What happens if my pet has special needs or behavior issues?
A: We evaluate each pet on a case-by-case basis. If your pet has special needs, behavioral concerns, or requires extra attention, please let us know in advance so we can provide the best possible care.

Q: Do you provide services for aggressive pets?
A: We assess pets with behavioral issues on a case by case basis. If you have concerns, please inform us beforehand, and we’ll work with you to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet.
Q: What is your cancellation policy for drop-in visits?
Cancellations for drop-in visits made 24 hours or more in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Q: What is your cancellation policy for overnight pet sitting?
To ensure fairness to both our clients and staff, the following policy applies to all overnight sitting bookings:

30+ Days Before Stay: 100% refund

15–29 Days Before Stay: 75% refund

7–14 Days Before Stay: 50% refund

Less Than 7 Days Before Stay: Non-refundable
Q: How will my refund be issued?
You may choose between two options:

Credit: Receive the full eligible refund amount as credit to your Atlanta Pet Pal account (no fees deducted). Credit may be used toward any future service.

Refund to Payment Method: Receive the eligible refund amount back to your original payment method, minus transaction processing fees charged by the payment processor. Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
Q: Why is there no refund within 7 days for overnight sits?
Our sitters reserve multiple days and nights exclusively for your pets. Last-minute cancellations often mean we cannot rebook those dates, which is why stays canceled within 7 days are non-refundable.
Q: Can you provide references?
A: Yes, we can provide references from satisfied clients who are happy to share their experiences. Just let us know if you’d like to speak with them!
Q: How can I check if my location is within your service area?
A: You can input your address on our website to check if you are located within 6 miles of our office in Kennesaw. You can also click the Service Areas page to confirm your location.
